MIKE THOMSON

CEO


Mike grew up immersed in the family business, working closely with his father, Lee, who founded the company in 1986. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Calgary, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Marketing.


Following his studies, Mike gained valuable experience in the corporate sector with Telus and Labatt before returning to the family business in 2006 on a full-time basis. Today, he oversees all aspects of the operation, bringing a strong combination of industry knowledge and business expertise. Mike thrives on the challenges of new projects and is committed to consistently exceeding customer expectations.

     

 

 


Scott smith

Operations Manager


Scott brings nearly 20 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry and has been a licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic since 2005. His background spans highway maintenance, full-phase logging, and commercial transport logistics, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both equipment and operations.


Scott combines strong technical expertise with hands-on field experience, allowing him to effectively manage equipment performance and support efficient project execution. He is known for his safety-conscious approach, strong work ethic, and ability to lead by example.


 


GEORGE FEHR

Superintendent


George has 28 years of experience in the oil and gas construction industry, specializing in pipeline construction, earthworks, and heavy equipment operations. He has progressed through field and leadership roles including foreman, superintendent, and construction supervisor.

 

His experience includes pipeline integrity, new construction, decommissioning, reclamation, and environmental response projects, as well as client representative and consulting work. George is known for his strong leadership, practical field knowledge, and ability to manage crews and projects with a focus on safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Clint russell

Field HSE


Certified Falling Supervisor, Danger Tree Assessor, and NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) with over 15 years of experience in forestry, coastal falling, and oil and gas operations. Clint specializes in high-risk environments with a strong focus on safety leadership, hazard assessment, and risk mitigation.


He has supervised complex logging and pipeline clearing projects across BC and Alberta, including steep slope and heli-access operations. Known for his strong field leadership, he is committed to maintaining a proactive safety culture and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.


 


ashley sinnamon

QC Lead


Ashley is a QA/QC and construction professional with extensive experience in pipeline construction, coating inspection, and project delivery across major oil and gas projects in Western Canada. He holds API 1169 and AMPP (NACE CIP II) certifications along with key safety qualifications.


He has held senior roles including Coating Foreman, QA/QC Lead, Construction Manager, and Assistant Chief Inspector on large-scale projects such as the Trans Mountain Expansion Project. His focus is on quality assurance, compliance, and safe, efficient project execution.

 


raeanne vandenbroek

Office Manager & Project Controller


Raeanne holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and brings over a decade of experience across construction, contracting, and financial services. She plays a key role in overseeing office operations, project cost tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting to help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.


In addition to her project and financial responsibilities, Raeanne manages payroll, benefits administration, and HR functions, supporting compliance and a well-organized workplace. She is known for her strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to keep operations running smoothly in fast-paced environments.
